Okay guys, after two years of blogging incognito I’m ditching the pen name and coming out from under the radar…

Hi, my real name is Priscilla and I live in the wonderful and ethnically diverse borough of Queens, NY with a charming man named Buddy and a lovely dog named Sadie.  Although I cook for a living, I also cook at home as much as I can.  When I’m not cooking I’m usually thinking about cooking.  I  have also recently started gardening and try to use organic and sustainably raised foods whenever they are available.

I used to design buildings, but am tired of explaining to people why I don’t like doing that anymore so let’s talk food instead.  If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, you can still email me at  aymagrup@gmail.com or leave your comment at the end of any post or page.

About our Little House in Queens:

Because there is more to life than cooking (yes, it’s true), I have started a sister blog called Little House in Queens.  I am very excited about this new blog as it will give me a chance to write about things we love outside of the kitchen, and will give Buddy a chance to be involved and write about his interests too.  The focus is wider and slightly different than this one.  It is more about our life on the outskirts of New York City, and our efforts to live a more frugal and self-sufficient life.  We will also be challenging ourselves by participating in Post a Week 2011.  There will be posts about do-it-yourself projects for the kitchen, home, and garden, and posts about some of the great and not so great things about life in our little neighborhood.

I’m not sure what this will mean for Have Knives, Will Cook, since there is bound to be some overlap of content.  Either here or there, I hope you will visit and share with us.
